Story By: KENNY SHUPP / WOODHULL RACEWAY – WOODHULL, NY – Due to unforeseen circumstances the ownership and management team of the Woodhull Raceway has decided to hold off on their Awards Banquet which was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2023.
A combination of preparedness plus several other season ending special events at other race venues across the region on the same date have forced track owners, Terry and Nike Brewer to re-group and reset for the tracks 2023 Awards Ceremony.
With many of the race teams that would be at the Woodhull Raceway Awards Banquet planning on competing at other tracks, they have decided it in everyone’s best interest to forgo the September 30, 2023 date and re-schedule to a time and place later.
“We do not what to put racers that will be receiving awards and point fund money in a position of choosing weather to attend the banquet or go attend a race some place else on the same day we are going to make things easier and just hold off with our Awards Ceremony. We have been bombarded with calls from our numerous of our weekly race teams that would like to keep racing throughout the Fall Season asking if we would push the Woodhull Raceway Awards Banquet back to a later date when there are no conflicts.” That according to Woodhull Raceway owners, Terry and Niki Brewer.
Other than a date and location yet to be determined everything else remains the same as the top point getters will all receive hardware and point fund money which they are due.
