Chris Andrews’ Season Commences; First Attica / Fremont Double Of 2024 Season Ahead

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / CHRIS ANDREWS RACING – SANDUSKY, OH – It was a tough start to the season for Sandusky, Ohio’s Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing, but despite the disappointing outcome, ultimately failing to qualify for Attica Raceway Park’s first main event of the season, there were plenty of significant points to document, one of which the sixth-fastest qualifying time of 39 entries.

Although a great start to the evening, Andrews, ace of the Ohio Truck Sales, OTS Truck Centers, Fleet Capital, Cintas, Kenworth of Cleveland, Toledo Spring, NAPA Fremont Auto Parts, Burdue Insurance, TruckParts4U.com, No. 15C sprint car, went on to find trouble, eventually losing a throttle pedal bolt during his respective heat race. That, unfortunately, was the beginning of the end.

“We’ll shake that off and move forward. That’s all anyone can do,” Andrews stated. “Better to get the hiccups out of the way early than have to deal with them throughout the season.

“Hats off to my team,” Andrews continued. “They work hard and they deserve positive results. I’m confident we’ll achieve those results this weekend at Attica and Fremont.”

Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with their first doubleheader of the season, returning to Attica Raceway Park on Friday, April 5, before making the short trip to Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, on Saturday, April 6.
