Mother Nature Claims Friday’s Test & Tune At Lernerville; Steel City Stampede ReBoot On For Saturday

Story By: GARY HEEMAN / LERNERVILLE SPEEDWAY – SARVER, PA – Mother Nature brought some early morning rain and snow to The Action Track on Friday Morning and coupled with wet grounds forced officials to cancel the scheduled Test & Tune event.

Racing at the Sarver speedplant will now commence with the Steel City Stampede ReBoot on Saturday, April 6. The evening will see the final five features, heldover from October including the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Penn Ohio Pro Stock Dow/Kyle Memorial, Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds, RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, UEMS Modifieds, Butler County Tourism Mini Stocks and the 100 lap Enduro.

Pits will open at 4 PM on Saturday with grandstands opening at 5 PM and hot laps taking place at 6 PM followed by racing. All ticket stubs and pit bands from October will be honored on Saturday night and for those fans who were unable to attend in the fall, tickets are available at Lernerville.com and will be available at the main ticket window. Pit passes will be $35.
