Port Royal Speedway Officials Moving Start Time For April 6th Race Event Up By Two Hours

Story By: BRAD STRAWSER / PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY – PORT ROYAL, PA – Port Royal Speedway has made the decision to move up the start time of the April 6th event with the Penns Valley Meat Market RaceSaver sprint cars and Weikert Livestock 410 sprint cars by 2 hours.

With the impending cold weather, the speedway committee felt it was in best interest of the fans and teams to move the scheduled start time for pit gates to open to 12pm, general admission gates to open at 1pm, hot laps to begin at 2pm and racing to start at 3pm. This is a 2 hour jump ahead from the originally scheduled start time of 5pm.

Also, the camping area at Port Royal Speedway will be closed for the event following the 4+ inches of rain the community received during the week making the area not supportive of campers.

The Port Royal Speedway team is focused and committed to run the show efficiently on April 6th for both fans and teams to come enjoy racing at the Speed Palace and also be back home before the temperatures drop to be too uncomfortable for all.
