Eliason With Back-To-Back Top-10s Through The Sooner State; $20K Up For Grabs In West Memphis

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / RIDGE & SONS RACING – KNOXVILLE, IA – It was a three-race slate through the Sooner State for Cory Eliason and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), continuing their 2024 High Limit Racing campaign with a Midweek Money Series event at Red Dirt Raceway on Tuesday, April 16, followed by back-to-back starts at Southern Oklahoma Speedway and Salina Highbanks Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20.

The three-race agenda resulted in a pair of top-tens for the Visalia, California, native, finishing no worse than 11th overall, that of which taking place in Red Dirt Raceway’s $20,000-to-win Midweek Money Series program.

Eliason, driver of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Commercial Edge, NDT New Direction Transport LLC, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, B And L Holdings, No. 8 sprint car, finished tenth in each of the aforementioned top-ten scores, all of which highlighted with an impressive seven-spot rally at Salina Highbanks – his eighth top-ten result of the year.

Just one night prior at Southern Oklahoma, Eliason lined up second on the A-Main grid, earning his way there via runner-up performance in the evening’s dash. The Cali ace kicked-off the $12,000-to-win program with the second-fastest qualifying time.

“A fairly consistent week for our team. We wanted a little more out of our performances, but the progress we’re making is pretty apparent,” Eliason explained. “We have another busy week ahead which I’m pretty excited about. The more we race, the better we’re going to get.

“Just want to thank Brian and Lisa Ridge for the opportunity,” Eliason continued. “A little bit of a learning curve for us so far, but the season is young. I’m confident we’ll deliver the results they deserve.”
