Thursday’s FloRacing Night In America At Lincoln Speedway Preempted By Rain

Story By: BEN SHELTON / FLO SERIES – LINCOLN, IL – Persistent rain that arrived at Lincoln Speedway roughly 30 minutes before hot laps were scheduled to hit the track, resulted in the second-straight rainout for the Castrol® FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota on Thursday evening.

Forty-seven Super Late Models had registered for action in the season opener for the tour.

Track and series officials are currently evaluating reschedule dates with further details soon to be released.

The series now looks to open their 2024 campaign at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway on Tuesday, May 14 with a $20,000-to-win / $1,000-to-start Castrol® FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota program.

Super Stocks join the night’s action.

The pit gate opens at 4 p.m. ET with the grandstand gate opening at 4 p.m. The driver’s meeting is at 6:15 p.m. with hot laps at 6:45 p.m. and racing action to follow.

Grandstand tickets (ages 12-and-up) is $30 with children (ages 6-11) $10 and kids (ages 5-and-under) free. Pit passes are $45.
