Greg Wilson Pushes Forward In Sharon WoO Visit; Atomic Double Around Corner

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / GREG WILSON RACING – BENTON RIDGE, OH – Greg Wilson’s ability to persevere has always been apparent, and the Benton Ridge, Ohio, native certainly proved that thought valid on Saturday night during the World of Outlaws invasion of Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, ultimately battling his way through the evening’s Last Chance Showdown before climbing to 16th in the final A-Main rundown.

Wilson, who missed World of Outlaws A-Main competition at Attica Raceway Park one night prior due to self-inflicted motor issues, moved ahead eight spots in his Sharon feature rally, already setting aim on a Series rematch this Friday and Saturday at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio.

“I want to thank Paul and Mike for helping me get my motor situation figured out after Attica. We made the right decision to head home early and resolve the issue,” Greg Wilson stated. “Sharon resulted in a better night for our team. Track conditions were a lot different than what the previous week had given us, but we did what we could to adapt quickly. In all, a really respectable night against that level of competition.”

Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series doubleheader at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, May 26-27.
