Another Attica / Fremont Championship Series weekend On Tap For Chris Andrews Racing

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / CHRIS ANDREWS RACING – SANDUSKY, OH – It has been quite the learning curve for Chris Andrews and his newly formed Chris Andrews Racing, but despite another frustrating weekend in northwest Ohio, highlighting all recent results with a 15th-place score at Attica Raceway Park on Friday, May 26, the Sandusky, Ohio, native is ready to move forward, setting aim on another Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) pair in the Buckeye State.

As the name suggests, the AFCS doubleheader will take northwest Ohio competitors to Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday, June 2, followed by a short trip to “The Track That Action Built,” Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, on Saturday, June 3.

Although his team is new, Andrews’ experience in Ohio runs deep, earning a pair of Attica Raceway Park titles over the course of his career, as well as a pair of Fremont Speedway top-fives already this year.

“It’s been a lot of trial and error for our team, but we’re getting closer,” Andrews, driver of the Ohio Truck Sales/Fleet Capital No. 15C sprint car, stated. “Hats off to my crew. They give 110% each and every weekend and I appreciate their efforts. Our recent results haven’t reflected success, but that’s what it takes to weed out the issues. We’re hoping to turn things around this weekend at Attica and Fremont.”

Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with another round of Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) action in the Buckeye State, invading Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday, June 2, followed by a stop at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, on Saturday, June 3.
