Inclement Weather Pushes Back Sprint Car Summer Heat One Week At Humberstone

Story By: ACTION SPRINT TOUR / HUMERSTONE SPEEDWAY – PORT COLBORNE, ONT – Rain showers have begun around 9:30am at Humberstone Speedway with no signs of letting up for the day.

This has forced track crews to reschedule Sprint Car Summer Heat ’23 one week to July 9th. Owner Terry Vince said they are “Going to run the race next weekend with everything the same,” in hopes mother nature will cooperate.

Racing action will return to Humberstone Speedway on July 9th when the track hosts the Southern Ontario Sprints and Action Sprint Tour. The DIRTcar Sportsman West Tour will headline the card.

The GR Enviro & Rail Thunder Stocks as well as the Bosch Car Services Mini Stocks will compete in their second of two Duel on the Dirt Home Track events as well. Pit Gates open at 4:30pm, grandstand gates open at 5:00pm with racing starting at 6:30pm.
