Matt Westfall & Ray Marshall Motorsports Battle With The Best In Indiana Sprint Week

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / RAY MARSHALL MOTORSPORTS – FOREST, OH – It was a wild week in the Hoosier State for Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports, and although USAC’s annual Indiana Sprint Week attracts all of open wheel’s finest competitors, Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports proved they were always in the conversation, concluding the eight-race turned seven-race agenda with one top-ten score, four other results being within the top-14.

Westfall, ace of Ray Marshall’s Buckeye Machine Fabricators Inc, Hempy Water, DPI Ink, No. 33M sprinter, earned his top-ten achievement during the first night of Indiana Sprint Week action, finishing tenth at Gas City I-69 Speedway in Gas City, Indiana, on Friday, July 21. There were 58 cars entered for competition with Westfall kicking off the program with the third-fastest qualifying time.

Other Indiana Sprint Week highlights include finishing 12th at Lawrenceburg Speedway on July 23, rallying from 22nd to finish 14th at Circle City Raceway on July 24, rallying from 22nd to 11th at Terre Haute Action Track on July 26, and finishing 14th at Lincoln Park Speedway on July 27.

Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports concluded Indiana Sprint Week 15th in the final standings.
