Donny Schatz Continues Top 10 WoO Streak At Kennedale; Thunderbird & 81 Ahead

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / TONY STEWART RACING – BROWNSBURG, IN – Another World of Outlaws start resulted in another World of Outlaws top ten for Fargo, North Dakota’s Donny Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing, accomplishing the feat at Kennedale Speedway Park in Kennedale, Texas, on Saturday, March 23.

Schatz, who is now eight for eight this season in the top-ten category, finished ninth at the Kennedale oval, starting the 35-lapper from the exact same position.

The ten-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion kicked off the inaugural Kennedale, Texas, visit with the fifth-fastest qualifying time, followed by a third-place finish during his respective heat race.

Schatz’s Texas streak, consisting of a pair of starts at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas, and the recent visit to Kennedale, will conclude with finishes no worse than ninth, launching the trip with ninth and third-place finishes at Cotton Bowl, respectively.

Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing and Donny Schatz will continue their 2024 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a Great Plains double, this time visiting Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and 81 Speedway in Wichita, Kansas, on Friday and Saturday, March 29-30.
