Chris Andrews Racing Continues To Show Progress At Fremont Speedway

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / CHRIS ANDREWS RACING – SANDUSKY, OH – Despite a less than positive overall outcome that witnessed Chris Andrews end his recent Fremont Speedway campaign short of the finish, the Sandusky, Ohio, native is still showing forward progress, highlighting Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) competition at “The Track That Action Built” with the fastest qualifying time of the night, following that statistic with a fourth-place finish during his respective heat race. Andrews would go on to start sixth on Fremont’s $4,000-to-win main event grid.

As noted, Andrews’ Fremont Speedway A-Main campaign was short lived, forced to retire as the result of a mud-packed front end; he was scored 22nd.

“It’s been a roller coaster season. Things were on pace to be really good at Fremont, but other variables kept us from finishing,” Andrews, driver of the Ohio Truck Sales/Fleet Capital/Ohio Peterbilt No. 15C sprint car, said. “Hats off to my team. Our results certainly don’t reflect their hard work and dedication. We’re going to roll into July with a fresh outlook and work to turn things around quickly.”

Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with another double in the Buckeye State, returning to competition at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, June 30-July 1.
