Randall Rallies Big Against All Stars; Capitani Classic & Front Row Challenge All Ahead

Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / TKS MOTORSPORTS – MITCHELLVILLE, IA – If recent results indicate anything, it’s that Chase Randall and TKS Motorsports are ready to rock and roll, recently testing their abilities against the All Star Circuit of Champions at the Sprint Car Capital of the World.

The $8,000-to-win program attracted over 50 of the nation’s finest, giving all another opportunity to test and tune before the forthcoming Capitani Classic and Knoxville Nationals.

Randall, ace of Troy Renfro’s Albaugh – Your Alternative, Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, deWit Construction, No. 2KS sprint car, finished 11th in his All Star appearance, rallying ahead big after starting 19th on the 25-lap grid. The Waco, Texas, native kicked off the evening with the sixth-fastest qualifying time, driving on to finish fourth during heat race competition.

The team will get another pre-Nationals test session on Sunday, August 6, set to battle in Knoxville Raceway’s annual Capitani Classic.

“We’re excited to see what we can do,” Renfro expressed. “Chase is doing a great job and we’re proud of his efforts. The All Star event featured a stout field and we were just shy of a top ten. His ability to persevere is an obvious benefit and if we had the opportunity to start closer to the front, I think we were a top five car.”
